TRANSLATION SERVICES
Our commitment to our clients goes beyond simply delivering a service. We are committed to building long-term relationships through customer satisfaction and open communication. We spend whatever time it takes to gain a thorough understanding of you, your business, and your objectives, and we merge that knowledge with our professional language services and expertise. It is therefore no surprise that most of our new clients are referrals from existing clients.
If you do not see what you are looking for, please ask us. We want to make things simple for you and will provide tailored solutions to meet your linguistic needs.
TRANSLATIONS
Having a document translated is easy with us. If you are a prospective client, email the document(s) you wish translated, preferably in Word format, although we translate from all types of formats. Within 1-2 hours we will review your document and email you a quote with all price and delivery details. The fee is worked out at a flat rate per word or standard page, so you know exactly how much the translation will cost in advance. We ask you to sign and date the quote and send it back to us, via email or fax. We translate the file(s) and send the translation(s) back to you via email by the agreed deadlines. This approach may require that we sign a confidentiality agreement (Non-Disclosure Agreement, NDA). With us you will be certain to have your project completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality high standards.
CERTIFIED / SWORN TRANSLATIONS
A sworn translation gives a translated document the same legal validity of the original. This service may be requested for contracts, letters of appointment, birth/death/marriage documents, and more, but it can be requested for any project. We provide sworn translations of all types of scientific, technical, legal, and financial documents.
The certification process and requirements may vary according to the country. In Italy translations are sworn at civil courts and are provided with a stamped declaration. The United States and the United Kingdom do not have “sworn” translations, and in these cases, we can provide a “certified translation” or “notarized translation”. A certified translation is accompanied by a letter (“affidavit” or “certificate of accuracy”) signed and dated by the translator or translation agency, stating that the translation performed is a true version of the original. This letter may be signed, if necessary, before a notary to make it even more official.
TRANSCRIPTIONS
We provide high-quality audio-to-text and video-to-text transcription services. By outsourcing transcription work to us, you can save time and focus more resources on your core business. We give our utmost consideration and care to offer you reduced turnaround times and great client service. Examples of transcription projects include focus groups, market research interviews and videos, medical interviews, and much more.
To meet your exact requirements, we can also customize our transcription services. Transcriptions can be monolingual (if the source and target languages are the same) or followed by a translation into the target language, with localization if needed.
Our standard service (“non-verbatim” or “readable” transcriptions) transcribes the words in the recording without including laughter, pauses or sounds such as “uhm” and “ah”. However, we can transcribe any project verbatim; this is typically used for insurance and legal transcriptions but can be requested for any project.
PROOFREADING / REVISION / EDITING
All our proofreaders are highly qualified native speakers and subject-matter experts. We will thoroughly review your document, tracking the changes of everything we do, from minor proofreading to major rewriting, and email the revised document to you. All our proofreading, revising, and editing services include careful grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax checks to eliminate technical errors and make the document more readable, so that the text conveys its message clearly to the reader. Proofreading is done on the target text only (monolingual); no source text is required. Revising is done on source and target text (bilingual), with possible localization. Editing includes additional steps compared to both these services, such as checking the content and rewriting text where required.
Do you need a language service not listed here? We can almost certainly provide additional services for your business needs. Contact us to find out how we can help you!
